Every antique jewel has already lived a life before it reaches you. It was chosen, given, worn, put away in a drawer, and found again. Maison Velet exists to find those pieces, learn what they really are, and send them on to their next chapter.

Real history, honestly told

Each piece is dated by its construction, hallmarks and style, and described as it truly is. When a stone is synthetic, treated or replaced, you'll know. Antique jewelry is romantic enough without invented stories.

Tested in our own gem lab

I'm studying gemology with the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), and every stone is examined in-house with a refractometer, polariscope, UV lamp and a Leica stereo microscope before it's listed. You'll often see what I saw: inclusion photos and testing notes are shared on our Gem Notes journal and on Instagram.

Solid gold only

We sell solid gold and platinum jewelry only. Anything that tests as gold-filled or plated doesn't make it into the shop.
